Our trip to Kruger Park

On our trip to Kruger we saw a male cheetah patrolling his territory.

Cheetah sometimes climb trees, so that they can see further and spot prey.

Cheetahs are not really good tree-climbers like leopards. They don't go very high.

The tail of the cheetah is like a rudder - it helps them to balance and turn at high speed.

It was obvious that this was a male.

The black stripes on a cheetahs face absorb harsh light and allow the cheetah to see better when chasing its prey.

These are klipspringer. It was my first time to see them.

The main reason we were in Kruger was for the christening of Ashley. He is Johan's little boy. Johan is my god-father.

Granny and Grandad were there too.
