This race at Mlilwane is our favourite MTB race. I raced in the 22km event.
It went well - I recorded a time of 1:30:40, which gave me 4th place in the U12 Boys section. Next year I am going to train a bit harder. I have got three more years of racing U12
The fastest U12 was Tammy Hawley in 1:20:31 - she beat all the boys. The fastest boy was only 8 years old (1:25:35). He is younger than me.
